
Kelsey Thiele – Studio Owner/Instructor
Kelsey originally from Fairmont MN, moved to New York City to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, soon after she continued her training as an Intern at Broadway Dance Center. Kelsey has been seen dancing with New York Titans Dance Team, Kelly Peters Dance Company, Urban Dance Alliance, Sylvia Tosun, Freedom Willams, Rae, Sasha Gradiva, Salena Dabbs, The Mystic Dancers, Sybarite, Carnival and more. She has enjoyed performing in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis doing industrial events, music videos, showcases, and concerts.
Kelsey began her teaching journey starting off as Derek Mitchells assistant teacher and choreographer, she assisted him at Broadway Dance Center, and also with choreography for the Knicks City Dancers and Calvin Klein Promo Event. She became a sub at BDC and taught at multiple studios in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the Minneapolis/St Paul area. Kelsey’s choreography has been seen on the Timberwolves Dancers, the Mystic Lake Commercial, and the opening show for Bret Michaels & Masters of Illusions to name a few. Some of her most recent achievements are with her competition choreography as she has received multiple choreography awards for her creativity.
Kelsey is extremely excited to start her journey as the KrAz Dance studio owner! Since she was 15 her dream has always been to own her own studio and be able to share her passion of dance with others. So…..let’s get this party started KrAz Dancers!

Instructor
Alyssa is eager and excited to start her third season teaching at KrAz Dance. Alyssa has an extensive background in the styles of Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical with over 14 years of dance training. This is her first-year choreographing for the KrAz Dance Competition Team, and she is looking forward to challenge herself with competition choreography. She loves working with children and is looking forward to teaching and inspiring our young dancers at KrAz!

Instructor
Alise began dancing when she was four years old at the Fergus Falls School of Dance. She danced there for 11 years before enrolling at The Edge Dance and Performing Arts for the opportunity to dance competitively. Alise has won overall awards for her solos, duets, and group dances. She is trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, and hip hop. Alise currently lives in Fergus Falls with her husband and their four cats.
Dance has always been an important part of Alise’s life and she is passionate about sharing her love of dance with her students. Alise is beginning her fourth season teaching at KrAz Dance. She hopes to inspire her students the same way her teachers inspired her over the years.

Instructor
Mazie is looking forward to the opportunity to broaden her teaching at KrAz Dance. She has been in dance since the age of 4 and has danced at KrAz dance since it started. Mazie has been on the competition team for 4 years. She has trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop including small groups, large groups, solos and a trio. Mazie loves working with dance students and watching their growth throughout the season.

Instructor
Cassie was born and raised in Wahpeton, ND. She started teaching as a dance teacher at KrAz Dance this past year. Cassie loved working with her dancers this past year. It was fun to learn dance techniques along with them and see their joyful smiling faces each week. She has taken classes with adult tap for two years and has loved learning to dance. Cassie has a background in teaching as a special education teacher. Cassie loves to work with children and loves teaching them new skills. She is looking forward to another year of teaching more dancers their love for dance.

Instructor
Skylar fell in love with dance at the age of 3 and has been loving it more and more every single day. She has been on the competition line for the past 4 years and enjoys pushing herself. Skylar has received many judges’ choice awards, received standout dancer, has taken 1st place in overall placements, and won multiple scholarships from different conventions. Skylar has trained with different choreographer’s including Whitney Masse, Valley Dance District, Cathy Wind, Artistic Director of Keane Sense of Rhythm Tap Company, and Mark Yonally, Founder and Artistic Director of Chicago Tap Theatre. Her favorite style is tap but loves all varieties of styles including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Ballet.
Skylar has also been an assistant teacher for 3 years and enjoy helping students and watching them improve weekly. She is looking forward to teaching and inspiring younger dancers here at KrAz Dance!
